ARTS San Antonio presents Scrap Arts Music, Found Percussion of Tomorrow from Vancouver, Canada

ARTS San Antonio proudly presents Scrap Arts Music, Found Percussion of Tomorrow.

This earth-friendly, Victoria Canada-based company is comprised of five extraordinary, virtuosic and innovative drummers that transforms “scrap” into “art”, and “arts” into “music”.

An internationally renowned, athletic next-generation percussion ensemble, Scrap Arts Music delivers intricate rhythms, raw energy, athletic choreography and the most inventive and musical reuse of materials on stage today. With instruments fashioned from industrial scraps and offbeat materials ranging from accordion parts to artillery shells, Scrap Arts Music’s original music is as visually striking as it is sonically riveting.

Audiences have welcomed this electrifying quintet with unbridled enthusiasm,
embracing their intoxicating mix of music, movement and spectacle. Transcending
language, culture and age, Scrap Arts Music offers a highly physical, wildly theatrical and thoroughly entertaining experience.

This performance supports the nonprofit mission of ARTS San Antonio to entertain, enrich and educate the people of San Antonio and South Texas.

      Cost: Payment required - 29.00 to 99.00
