      MAAT Market Pop-Up Shop will host an UJAMAA Market on the first Saturday of the month. We believe that practice of the principle, Ujamaa-cooperative economics will encourage economic development in the African American community. The UJAMAA Market will be an excellent opportunity to support Black businesses. It will be a great venue for Black Entrepreneurs & Black Business owners to showcase your business or service. Come to network with other small business owners. Invite your family, friends and following to the UJAMAA Market. All are welcome to shop at the UJAMAA Market. If you’re looking for African inspired cultural products, The UJAMAA Market will be an excellent place to find them. We will have African clothing and accessories, African-American children and adult books, shea butter, natural body products, cultural t-shirts, Kwanzaa products, food vendors and much more… We will be selling the newly released DVD of the film documentary, “A Walk on the River: A Black History of the Alamo City.” Come mingle with the producers of the film and purchase your copy. Also, we will have book signing with the Baba Aundar, the author, of “Kwanzaa Tales of Africa”, a children's coloring story book. For interested vendors spaces are limited. For the vendors, we provide a table and chairs- please bring tablecloths and décor. DOORS OPEN FOR VENDOR SET UP @ 10:45 AM. Must complete up by 11:45am. No shows will not be refunded.
